Frederick Richard Breaks World Backflip Record

Olympic Bronze medalist, Frederick Richard set out to break the 2025 World Backflip record and raise money for African gymnastics equipment in the process. Richard successfully set the new world record on Friday, May 2nd 2025 by beating Nico Scheicher's record of 1001 backflips in a 24-hour period. Scheicher set the record in Graz, Austria in under nine hours. Richard completed 1,111 backflips in about 15 hours. His platform has also raised $47,000 to donate to Uganda.
