A. NCAA Season Begins This Week

The 2024 NCAA season kicks off this weekend with two meets: Penn State vs. Army and Michigan vs. Greenville and Simpson. A full schedule with video and live score links can be found here. The CGA has also released their rankings with Stanford topping the standings. Michigan also garnered one #1 vote. 


B. Brody Malone Engaged

2022 World Champion, Brody Malone, is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Serena Ortiz. 



C. Ukraine Updates

  • Illia Kovtun was awarded Ukraine’s Athlete of the Year. His coach, Iryna Gorbacheva was also named coach of the year.




D. Philippines National Championships

At the end of 2023, the Philippines held their national championships. World Champion, Carlos Yulo did not participate.


E. Milad Karimi Wins Award

Milad Karimi was awarded Athlete of the year in Kazakhstan.



F. Swiss National Team Announced

The Swiss have announced their national teams with Christian Baumann (TV Lenzburg), Luca Giubellini (STV Eien-Kleindöttingen), Florian Langenegger (STV Schlossrued), Noe Seifert (Oftringen Kutu Satus ORO), and Taha Serhani (TV Hegi) making up the A team.


F. Misha Koudinov Out for a whole year

New Zealand's Misha Koudinov will miss this Olympic Cycle with an injury. As the top all-arounder in Oceania, this provides a huge opportunity for other athletes in Australia and New Zealand like Clay Mason Stephens (AUS), James Hardy (AUS), Heath Thorpe (AUS), and Ethan Dick (NZL).




G. Yul Moldauer Interview
