2026 U.S. Men's National Qualifier Results

Shane Wiskus Wins the AA tying the highest AA score in the U.S. this year

June 29, 2026

Shane Wiskus showed up to his old stomping grounds on a mission — to qualify a spot back to the 2026 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships. The 2020 Olympian narrowly missed out on making the 2024 Olympic team and was ultimately named a travelling alternate. He spent much of 2025 rehabbing and documenting his comeback on YouTube.

In the early part of 2026, Wiskus posted competitive scores in the all-around breaking the covete 80.000 mark, but fell short of making the Senior National Team at Winter Cup after a less-than-ideal performance. However, in Colorado Springs, he left no doubt that he is back. Wiskus posted an 84.157 (with bonus) and an 83.650 (without bonus), the latter of which tied Frederick Richard's high score from February.

At the U.S. Qualifier, pommel horse star, Stephen Nedoroscik, won his signature event with a 14.100 and a significantly downgraded routine. Nedoroscik revealed on social media that he had been struggling with a hip injury that required surgery and a shoulder issue that required intermittant training; he hopes to compete a more difficulty routine at the 2026 National Championships.

This meet also saw the return of Marvin Kimble, who returned to competition five years after retiring. Kimble competed five events with a four-score total of 50.300.

Fifteen men in qualified from this competion to compete at the 2026 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships in Phoenix, Arizona.
