Last week, Navy bested Army. This week, they’ll rematch with the other alongside Air Force. Though Navy has outscored the other academies thus far, we haven’t seen Army or Air Force hit to their full potential yet this season. Outside of the team standings, one of the big highlights this weekend will be Army’s Pommel Horse rotation bolstered by Maddox Pabellon. Watch: Live Scores: |
Springfield College @ MichiganFebruary 14 at 2:00 pm ET |
Springfield and Michigan will be competing this weekend alongside Arizona State’s GymAct team. Michigan has a score advantage on all events. That said, the Pommel Horse rotation should still be an exciting matchup. Springfield has two strong Pommel Horse workers in Peyton Cramer and Devon Felsenstein. They will be facing off against Michigan’s Aaronson Mansberger, who currently holds the highest score on the event (14.900). Additionally, if Kaleb Palacio returns to the Springfield Vault lineup, he will be a strong match-up against Michigan’s Vault rotation. Greenville, Simpson, and William & Mary @ NebraskaFebruary 14 at 3:00 pm ET |
Closing out the weekend, Greenville, Simpson, and William & Mary will all travel to Nebraska. Nebraska has the clear score advantage amongst the four teams and is ranked 5th in the NCAA. Greenville, ranked 10th, has been very consistent this season but will want to increase their scores to take the lead from Navy in the ECAC. William & Mary and Simpson will have much tighter competition. Most recently, William & Mary cracked 300, but they will likely need to do so again to beat Simpson.
